CENTERING PRAYER
Loving God, you made covenant with us and with every living creature. We give thanks for the sign of the rainbow, for it reminds you and us of your promise: that the flood of destruction will not be the last word. We thank you, too, for the waters of baptism, the sign that we are raised as children of the covenant; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Help us to obey your Word, abide in your love, remember your promises, and celebrate your creation. Amen.

God of mercy, we acknowledge our wandering ways. You delivered us through storms, but we fear the clouds on the horizon. You set a rainbow of remembrance in the heavens, but we hang our heads in doubt. Break our hearts of stone, and help us see the world with your eyes.
