Some of us had two luncheons last week. The first was the Go-getters group who went to Labadie at the Hawthorne Inn for a lunch out.
This is a wonderful group of mostly retired women from
St. Mark Presbyterian Church.
The second lunch a few days later was our quarterly Caregivers' Lunch given at the church for individuals who are taking care of a spouse, child or parent.
It gets us out of the house and gives us an opportunity to talk to each other in an informal support group.
Our Pastor Sean entertained us with his pumpkin carving skills (note the ice cream scoop and the cut from the bottom).
