American Red Cross Swimming Safety Tips

 
For the past 100 years, the American Red Cross has helped millions of kids, teens and adults learn how to swim and become lifeguards or instructors. Now we’re working to cut drowning rates in half by teaching even more people how to be safe in the water.

Swimming can be fun and safe, but with an average of 10 Americans dying from unintentional drowning every day in this country, both adults and children need to learn the basics of swim safety before taking the plunge.
