CENTERING PRAYER
Grant us this day, O God, not to be overtaken by anxious thoughts that can make us feel you are not near. Give us the chance to sit at your feet, to enjoy every word and musical note, and to feel the comfort of your presence. Prepare us as we journey as your people, to worship and to obey. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord, the image of the invisible God, and the firstborn over all creation. Amen.

We do not take time to listen for your words or follow your voice. God of motion and silence, forgive us of our many faults. In your mercy, heal our worries and our judgments, so we can follow you better. (Silent Confession)
