Every year at Christmas, BRO (Board of Religious Organizations) distributes new and reconditioned toys to needy children in the St. Louis area. During the month of September, Presbyterian Women will be collecting new and reconditioned dolls and toys and monetary contributions. $5 will buy a toy or a soft doll for a child to hug this Christmas. Dark skinned dolls are preferred. Donations will be accepted in the Narthex throughout the month of September. In addition, new and gently used dolls, games, toys and books can be placed in the BRO collection box at any time. Especially needed are toys for boys ages 3 and 4 and soft bodied dolls for children under age 3.
