With the covid pandemic, we were unable to have some of our usual fund raising activities which helped our charity partners like Circle of Concern, Lafayette Industries, Isaiah58, Mound Ridge Retreat Center. One of our members volunteered to sell donated items on Ebay to help these missions.
Many in the congregation stepped up by donating items to sell and packing supplies to use. During 2020 and 2021, we earned over $10,000 for these missions. With a change in tax structure, we have had to cut back on our sales since our sales were not set up as a charitable organization but as a private individual. While still selling off inventory, we are no longer accepting items to sell.
Thank you to everyone for contribution and prayers. The good news is, we are going to have some of our fund-raising activities again in 2022.
The Circle of Concern Golf Tournament returns in 2022 on Monday, May 23 at Aberdeen Golf Club in Eureka!
The ABC Sale dates are drop-off on 7/31 and the sale dates are August 5/6.
