Daughters of God: Garden Party Luncheon

Several years ago, the Fellowship Committee at church decide to hold "Daughters of God" luncheons instead of Mother-Daughter Banquets since all women are "daughters of God"
This year's theme was a Garden Party Luncheon and as usual, the committee did not disappoint us.
We were asked to wear floral bright colors.

While the Committee worked away in the kitchen, the rest of us marveled at the details of the tables.

Each table had a color scheme with matching cups, tableware and center cloth making Gleason Hall look like a bed of colorful flowers.
Even the toothpicks holding the wraps together were decorated with small floral stickers.

Chicken salad wraps, potato salad, fruit cup, lemonade were for lunch.
The heart and butterfly wafers were really wildflower seeds for us to plant in our gardens.
Dessert was a bouquet of cookie pops which we all enjoyed eating at the end of the meal.
Yes, the ladies at St. Mark Presbyterian know how to throw a beautiful, inspirational luncheon.
