Adult Christian Education Classes Resume

In addition to Small Groups, Circles and Mid-week Classes, we have several classes starting up this week.
Tuesday Morning Men's Bible Study started Sept. 8 at 6:15 AM (Room 102).  They will be studying "Making Sense of the Bible" by Adam Hamilton.  See Dale Birkbeck or contact the church office if you are interested in joining.

Sunday Morning 8:30 AM (Room 305)  The Adult Discussion Group is a splendid gathering of open-minded, free thinking people who meet each Sunday morning to discuss topics of ethical, moral, scientific, historical and religious interest.  Attendees share the mantle of discussion leader and in general cherish the free exchange of viewpoints.

Sunday Morning 9:20 AM (Fellowship Hall) The Beginning Bible Class will start up the new year studying The Miracles of Jesus. Beginning Sept 12, we will be using a DVD study program that includes a Participant Study Guide. Each of the sessions take the participants to Israel on location and are taught by biblical experts. The sessions will provide, 1. Historical and cultural background 2. An engaging close look at the biblical text and its meaning. 3. Accurate, encour-aging and challenging applications of the Bible's meaning today. The class will be led by Bruce Cranston. If you would like to attend please email him or call him.

Sunday Morning 9:15 AM (Room 102) Adventure, Intrigue, Travel, Shipwreck.  And, It’s All True.  Join Doug Reed and Cliff Schoep who will lead a study of the Acts of the Apostles. The Book of Acts is key to understanding the early Christian church and, indeed, the church today.
