Make New Friends, But Keep the Old

Last Sunday, we had a class of 17 new members at St. Mark Presbyterian along with a new pastor, Rev. James Poinsett.  Oddly, I (the historian) received a photo directory from 40 years ago from the estate of a former member.  The song "Make New Friends, But Keep the Old;  One is Silver and the Other Gold" went through my head.  We have over a dozen members who have belonged for over 40 years.  This week and next week, I would like to showcase these faithful members!

When you see Charlene, Frank, Helen, Dale, Sally, Ellen, Boots and Bob, won't you thank them for their years of faithful service to the Ministry of St. Mark Presbyterian?
