Reverend MP Panco was our Retreat Leader. We were swept off our feet as we walked in the Word together, enjoyed fabulous food and tasty treats, tapped our toes to the music and kicked up our heels, sharing encouragement, fellowship and fun in Christ! This 23rd Annual Women's Retreat was on February 28 and 29 at Toddhall.
In addition to fellowship, and worship led by Pastor MP, the Presbyterian Women focused on caring for feet. They collected lotions for Isiah 58 and decided to support Sole Hope. Children in Uganda who walk barefoot are subjected to terrible foot sores caused by jiggers. Their two-fold mission involves working with Sole Kind as they provide foot care to eliminate the sores, care for feet and then provide shoes to make walking safer and more comfortable. At retreat we made care packets to be used in follow-up to medical treatment. We also cut out denim pieces for shoes that will be assembled by cobblers in Uganda.
