There are five international missions and one domestic mission in which to select items this year.
Marion Medical Mission - Build a well ($450) contribute toward building a well ($25)
Medical Benevolence Foundation - Contributions to the following: Nursing Schools Scholarships, Medical Care for Women and Children, Hospital & Clinic Laboratory Equipment, Supplying contributions toward “greatest needs.” (Donations are from $15 - $30)
Nicaragua Community Partnership Scholarships for Plan Grade Dos - $25 to $200
PCUSA International Agriculture Missions - Chicken, Cows, Goats, Piglets, Bee Hives and Moringa Seeds (food for human consumption) Prices from $5 - $50 for shares and $90 for a full purchase of a goat and $450 for a full purchase of a cow
Contributions to the support of PCUSA Co-Workers Rev. Jed and Jenny Koball of Peru and Mark Hare and Jenny Bent from Haiti-Dominican Republic $25 per share
Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services- GIVE A CHILD CHRISTMAS
A special Christmas dinner and gift for each child $35 per child
The complete shopping list with more information will be included in each church bulletin beginning on November 24 and continuing until December 22. In addition, gifts from Partners for Just Trade artisans and Fair Trade/Equal Exchange will be available to purchase.
Christmas Alternatives preview will be on December 1st when all informational posters will be on display. The Christmas Alternatives Gift Fair will begin on the Sunday December 8 and will conclude on Christmas Day, December 25th.
