`One: The Lord be with you.
MANY: And also with you.
One: Give thanks to the Lord; call upon God’s name.
MANY: Make known God’s deeds among the nations.
One: Proclaim that God’s name is exalted.
MANY: Sing praises to the Lord. God has done gloriously: let this
be known in all the earth.
Advent Prayer In Unison
All-knowing God, our world is a confusing and tempting place; it is so easy to lose our way. Yet your word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Help us to heed the advent call to faithful discipleship, for it is in knowing the truth that we find hope and joy. Let us draw near to you, even as you draw near to us in Christ Jesus. Amen
