CENTERING PRAYER
O God who knows our every need before we can even ask, who provides everything we need, and who blesses us all. Make us truly thankful and empower us to bless others from the gifts you so freely give. We pray this for the glory of your name. Amen.
CALL TO WORSHIP
O give thanks to the Lord!
The Lord hears the cries of the people.
Give thanks to the Lord.
The woks of the Lord are great.
Remember what God has done.
Give thanks to the Lord.
God has done miracles,
and the Lord always remembers God’s covenant.
Give thanks to the Lord
and praise God’s holy name.
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Gracious God, we seek after many things, but we fail to seek your presence. We expect generosity, but we do not share it with others. We are neither gracious or grateful. We fail to remember all you have done for us. Forgive us and fill our hearts with gratitude. Help us to share our gifts and strengthen our legs so we can run after you, O God. In Jesus’ name we pray. (Silent Confession)
Prayer after Offering
Lord, giver of all good gifts, thank you for the resources gathered here. Use these offerings for the advancement of your kingdom; in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
