Operation Christmas Child

Shoeboxes donated 2014

Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, has a goal of collecting enough gift-filled shoeboxes to reach 11 million children in 2015. Our church congregation continues to pack more and more boxes each year.

We are grateful to all the members who generously donate items for the boxes. We have enough stuffed animals, crayons, pencils, and washcloths for all our boxes. Items we do need are: bar soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Hot Wheels cars, and nice small toys for boys or girls. The goal is to have one "Wow!" item in every box and that most likely will be the toy!

We also appreciate assistance in covering the $7 per box shipping expense. In the Narthex you will find a place to drop off items and loose change.

Thank you for helping with this ministry. For more information you can contact Julie Northrip.
